	Turfgrass

Grass is a plant with herbaceous stems and belonged to Poacease. Stem is round and hollow in cross section with leaves in two ranks and with open sheaths. Fruit is a mealy grain. Grass is similar to sedge in the appearance but can be distinguished easily by cross section of the stem. Grass invade the disturbed area and occupy the open area exposed to sunlight by its numerous seeds and extensive rhizome system.
