Coir Log made of 100% natural coconut fiber used for protecting erosable soil and encouraging vegetation growth through biomechanical stabilization. It is economical, durable and biodegradable that provide excellent structural stability and resistant to water flow until the vegetation is established. Sediment deposited around Coir Log provide an excellent growth medium for plants so that vegetation can establish a good rooting system to retain soil in place.

Landscaping
1. Anchor Coir Log firmly into subsoil to protect the bottom of the slope and hold the soil fill behind the toe of the slope.
2. Use stakes to anchor the Coir Log in place. The length and spacing of the stakes depents on the flow velocity, soils ,other field conditions.
3. Plants can be inserted into the fiber core of the Coir Log through the coir fiber netting ,
Spacing between the plants depends on the type of plants used,Typical spacing is 15 cm to 30 cm.
4. When multiple logs are stacked along a streambank or shoreline, follow similar installation procedure.
