Apart from the traditional mulch usual paper cellulous using in the Hydroseeding work, Bonded Fibre Matrix (BFM) is a 100% biodegradable product consisting of wood fibres interlocked and bonded together by organic or mineral bonding agents. It is suitable to be applied to colluvium soil, alluvium soil, highly decomposed soil and sandy soil which do not have adequate layer of topsoil or organic matter for the vegetation growth.
After the application BFM to the soil surfaces, it forms a viscous layer, i.e. 1 to 2 mm,that creates a high strength, porous, erosion-resistant and uniform cohesive protective layer to the in-situ soil surface.Beside, it provides the optimum micro-climate for the germination and growth of grass/tree/wild flower seed, creeper plant sprig and fern spore until the healthy establishment of plant.
